Focus/Thrust Areas of the KVK:
- Turning uneconomic land holdings into profitable ones by developing/ demonstrating resource based and price led farming system
- Developing alternate land use patterns specific for rain fed, partially irrigated and irrigated conditions
- Reducing the vulnerability of agriculture to risks & uncertainties of climate change by promoting appropriate technologies that will adapt or mitigate the effects.
